Because of this wobble, the position of the earth in its orbit around the sun at the moment of the equinoxes and solstices will also change.Every 2,160 years the earth points to a new constellation!Every 13,00 years (roughly), the earth points either away from the center of our galaxy or towards it. On the winter solstice of December 21, 2012 the axis of the earth will point towards the center. Most scientists are of the opinion that the magnetic pole (of the earth) changes every 13,000 years. Some 13,000 years ago what we now all the North Pole was located at what's now known as Hudson Bay.The Sumerians knew of this more than 6,000 years ago!Prior to a pole shift, we begin to experience 
magnetic changes and abnormalities. Scientists have noted that our magnetic filed has been weakening over the last 25-50 years in a major increasing way. Ever since 2005, birds have had trouble migrating as never before noticed and scientists are talking more and more about the possibility of a reversal of the poles.Bottom line?
